The Punch Card now offers an additional option: limit the number of redemptions for any punch pass. Now, you may create a "Pick Any 5" season package where a patron can choose any five shows from your seven show season. Once the five redemptions have been made, no additional redemptions on the Punch Card will be allowed. In addition, a patron could choose to attend the same show twice if they loved it so much they wanted an encore. Using two punches for the same show would simply limit their attendance to a total of four shows for the season instead of five.
Conversion tracking allows you to identify the number of patrons that arrive on your ThunderTix event pages from online advertising in places like Facebook or your own website through "retargeting". Retargeting is a service offered by third party vendors where they show advertisements for your venue on other websites to gently remind them about your events. Both of these services and others use a "tracking pixel" to track these visitors through to ThunderTix and the checkout process.
The new Conversion Tracking field allows you to enter several different tracking codes which are reported in analytics for the outside services.
You can find the Conversion Code field by clicking on Account Settings in the upper right hand corner, then scroll to the bottom of the page under Account Information, and click on your account name. The Conversion Tracking Code field is on the right beneath Google Analytics. If you haven't already entered it, consider putting your Google Analytics tracking code into its own field, as well! If you have tracking codes from multiple websites -- say, one for retargeting, another for Facebook, and a third for LinkedIn, you can insert all 3 codes into the same field one on top of the other. All three codes will be inserted into your ThunderTix event website for a complete analysis of your ticket buyers.
Many of our friends north of the border use French as their primary language. We've incorporated the language in the purchase process to automatically translate to French so all buyers can have total confidence in their purchases. So, if a ticket buyer has French set as their main language in their browser, ThunderTix will recognize that and automatically translate all wording in the entire purchase process to French. Vive le Canada!
If you have a First Data merchant account, you can now choose to use either Authorize.net or First Data's own payment gateway -- E4. You may want to compare prices between both gateways to see which fees are the most cost effective for your organization.
