While offering simplicity and speed, the method of overriding order prices had one inherent flaw: there was no record of the exact price for each ticket for the order. Now, each ticket price may be modified on the checkout page. This improves reporting, provides greater accuracy, and just as importantly, allowed us to finally provide an answer to the next request.
 Simply change the price of the ticket to the new price and when you click out of that field, you'll see it updated immediately with the original price noted next to the discounted ticket.

In some cases, you'll need to split tickets in order to handle the discount. For example, if you have an order of 3 General Admission tickets for $15 each and you want to discount only 1 ticket by $5. In this case, click the button to the right of the screen that says "Split Tickets for Overrides" (as shown to the right) and you will see that each ticket will be changed to be listed on it's own line giving you the flexibility to change just one of them from $15 to $10. Exchange Orders for Season Passes Now Available!

If you processed an order using either a Defined Package or an Open Package, you can now process an exchange on the original order. So, if a customer needs to transfer a date on a single package, you can choose the performance tickets that need to be exchanged and transfer that patron to a new date. You will need to use the new discount function on the new order to discount the tickets to ensure no amount is due.

Also available is the ability to process an exchange from a Flex Pass order where coupons were applied. So, if you had an order where automatically generated coupons were applied changing the final balance to $0, you can now process exchanges to new performances for those patrons.

Do Multiple Exchanges

One of the benefits of being a season subscriber and many theaters is the perk of being able to exchange your tickets any time. Now, you can do one exchange after another as many times as the customer requests it. The funds from the original order will continue to follow the patron to each new performance while fees, if any, will remain on the original order.

Exchanges will appear in your performance sales reports the same as they had previously. Exchanges transferred into a performance will be marked as credits while exchanges transferred out of a performance to a different event will be shown as debits.

One other important improvement to note is that simple exchanges from one group of seats to another within the same performance will not change the gross collected on that event. This had been a previous discrepancy in the reporting which has now been corrected.
