By visiting or using the ThunderTix.com website (the “ThunderTix Website”) or attempting to buy or reserve a ticket or actually buying or reserving a ticket using the ThunderTix Website or the ThunderTix services (the “Website Services”) you are what we refer to as a “Ticket Buyer” and you are agreeing to accept all terms of this privacy policy and acknowledging and agreeing that such terms are adequate and sufficient to protect your privacy. If you do not agree to any terms of this policy or their adequacy and sufficiency to protect your privacy, you should immediately stop using the ThunderTix Website and/or Website Services and exit the ThunderTix Website. This Privacy Policy explains how we and our client venues (our “Clients”) use and protect the personal information we collect when you visit or use the ThunderTix Website or attempt to or successfully place an order for a ticket using the ThunderTix Website or Website Services. This Privacy Policy along with the ThunderTix Client/Venue Privacy Policy, the ThunderTix purchase terms and conditions, and the ThunderTix Terms of Use, each of which is incorporated herein by reference, applies to all Ticket Buyers and other users of the ThunderTix Website and the Website Services. For purposes of this Privacy Policy, when appropriate, the term ThunderTix includes ThunderTix and the relevant ThunderTix Client(s) offering/presenting the Website Services to the Ticket Buyer through the ThunderTix Website.
Collecting Your Personal Information
As an eCommerce website, ThunderTix may collect personal information from you such as your name, phone number, and email address, on behalf of our clients (the "Venues"). When you buy or attempt to buy a ticket from a Venue using the ThunderTix Website and the Website Services, ThunderTix collects additional information on behalf of the Venues, including, without limitation, financial and personal information from you (credit card data, billing address, email address, etc.). Credit card or other financial information collected for and provided to the Venues and/or their payment processors is not maintained, stored, or used by ThunderTix.
You also provide non-personal information about your computer and about your activities on the ThunderTix Website. We, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your computer or mobile device, and your interaction over time with the ThunderTix Website or Website Service, our communications and other online services, such as:
- Your computer’s or mobile device’s operating system type and version, manufacturer and model, browser type, screen resolution, RAM and disk size, CPU usage, device type (e.g., phone, tablet), IP address, unique identifiers (including identifiers used for advertising purposes), language settings, mobile device carrier, radio/network information (e.g., Wi-Fi, LTE, 3G), and general location information such as city, state or geographic area.
- Online activity data, such as pages or screens you viewed, how long you spent on a page or screen, the website you visited before browsing to the ThunderTix Website or Website Service, navigation paths between pages or screens, information about your activity on a page or screen, access times and duration of access, and whether you have opened our marketing emails or clicked links within them.
Like many online services, we use the following technologies:
- Cookies, which are text files that websites store on a visitor‘s device to uniquely identify the visitor’s browser or to store information or settings in the browser for the purpose of helping you navigate between pages efficiently, remembering your preferences, enabling functionality, helping us understand user activity and patterns, and facilitating analytics and online advertising.
- Local storage technologies, like HTML5 and Flash, that provide cookie-equivalent functionality but can store larger amounts of data, including on your device outside of your browser in connection with specific applications.

Data Protection
ThunderTix has security measures in place to help safeguard your information from unauthorized access or disclosure. Only ThunderTix employees or active Venue users, are permitted to access your data.
We encrypt all credit card data before it is sent from your computer through the Internet Gateway. ThunderTix does not store any credit card data except for last 4 digits of the card, and this is available only so that the Venue can ensure the buyer's identity in the case that a ticket is lost or misplaced.
We take precautions to ensure the security of your personal information. However, we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your personal information despite our efforts. In using the ThunderTix Website, your information will travel through third party infrastructures which are not under our control.
Our Use of Your Information
ThunderTix may use information that we collect about you in one or more of the following ways, among others:
- Processing payments for processed orders and completing transactions with you;
- Delivering tickets, products and services made on the ThunderTix Website;
- Include you in ThunderTix mailing lists;
- Establish and maintain your user profile on the ThunderTix Website or Website Service;
- Communicate with you by e-mail, telephone and/or mobile devices about events and tickets purchased;
- Communicate with you about the ThunderTix Website or Website Service, including by sending announcements, updates, security alerts, and support and administrative messages;
- Provide support for the ThunderTix Website or Website Service, and respond to your requests, questions and feedback;
- To enforce our terms and conditions;
- To better protect you from or identify fraudulent transactions;
- To enable security features of the ThunderTix Website or Website Service, such as by sending you login links via email, and remembering devices from which you have previously logged in;
- Provide, operate and improve the ThunderTix Website or Website Service and our business; and
- Understand your needs and interests, and personalize your experience with the ThunderTix Website or Website Service and our communications.
How we may share your personal information
We may share your personal information with the following parties and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy or at the time of collection.
- Affiliates. Our corporate parents, subsidiaries, and affiliates, for purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- Service providers. Third parties that provide services on our behalf or help us operate the ThunderTix Website or Website Service or our business (such as hosting, information technology, customer support, email delivery, marketing, and website analytics).
- Payment processors. Any payment card or other financial or personal information you use to make a purchase on the ThunderTix Website or Website Service is collected and processed directly by the payment processors used by our client venues, which may include, without limitation, such vendors as Stripe, Square, Authorize.net, ApplePay, GooglePay, Moneris, Braintree, PayPal, and others. These vendors may use your payment data in accordance with their privacy policies, which may be available on their respective websites. By providing your payment card or other financial information for use to make a purchase on the ThunderTix Website or Website Services, you are agreeing to the use of our client venue’s payment processor(s) and ThunderTix is not responsible for such payment processor’s handling or use of such information.
- Advertising partners. Third-party advertising companies for the interest-based advertising purposes mentioned above.
- Professional advisors. Professional advisors, such as lawyers, auditors, bankers and insurers, where necessary in the course of the professional services that they render to us.
- Authorities and others. Law enforcement, government authorities, and private parties, as we believe in good faith to be necessary or appropriate for the compliance and protection purposes described above.
- Business transferees. Acquirers and other relevant participants in business transactions (or negotiations and diligence for such transactions) involving a corporate divestiture, merger, consolidation, acquisition, reorganization, sale or other disposition of all or any portion of the business or assets of, or equity interests in, ThunderTix or our affiliates (including, in connection with a bankruptcy or similar proceedings).
- Other users and the public. Your user-generated content may be visible to the public if you post on any ThunderTix social media site or other public facing forum, board or site. This information can be seen, collected and used by others, including being cached, copied, screen captured or stored elsewhere by others (e.g., search engines), and we are not responsible for any such use of information.
Your choices
You have the following choices with respect to your personal information.
- Access or update your information. ThunderTix does not currently use or maintain user accounts or logins, and any personal information collected is only provided to and used by our client venues from which you have purchased or attempted to purchase tickets. If you have registered for an account with one of our client venues, your access to and ability to update such information is subject to any privacy terms applicable to such account and ThunderTix does not maintain and is not responsible for such personal information provided upon registering for such an account.
- Opt-out of marketing communications. ThunderTix will not send you marketing information. If you receive a marketing email from one of our client venues with which you transacted or attempted to transact business with through the ThunderTix Website or Website Services, your opt-out right with respect to such marketing-related emails are subject to the opt-out terms provided by such venue and ThunderTix is not involved in such email marketing activities.
- Cookies. Most browser settings let you delete and reject cookies placed by websites. Many browsers accept cookies by default until you change your settings. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use all functionality of the ThunderTix Website or Website Service and it may not work properly. - Local storage. You may be able to limit use of HTML5 cookies in your browser settings. Unlike other cookies, Flash-based local storage cannot be removed or rejected via your browser settings, but you can adjust the settings of your Flash player to block it. There are a number of places on the ThunderTix Website where you may click on a link to access other websites that do not operate under this Privacy Policy. For example, if you click on a link on the ThunderTix Website from an event to an outside party's own website, you may be taken to a website that we do not control. These third-party websites may independently solicit and collect information, including personal information, from you. Importantly, these third parties will have their own privacy policies describing how they use and disclose your personal information. Those policies will govern the use, handling and disclosure of your personal information once you or we have shared it with those third parties. At no time does ThunderTix use your personal information to send commercial or promotional emails. In the case that a commercial or promotional email is sent to you from the Venue where you purchased tickets, you should consult with the Venue to opt out of receiving such messages.
Children’s Privacy
The ThunderTix Website is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13. Children aged 13 or older should not submit any personal information without the permission of their parents or guardians. By using the ThunderTix Website, you are representing that you are at least 18, or that you are at least 13 years old and have your parents’ permission to use the Website.
Visiting Our Website from Outside the United States
This Privacy Policy covers the collection of information on the ThunderTix Website from U.S. and Canadian residents. If you are visiting the ThunderTix Website from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States where our servers are located and our central database is operated.
U.S. data protection and other laws may not be as comprehensive as those in your country. Please be assured that we take steps to ensure that your privacy is protected.

We will occasionally update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices and services.
