On event night, print seating charts in advance to help streamline walk-up sales and allow you to quickly assign patrons to remaining available seats. If you print your seating chart shortly before the show, your chart will accurately depict all sold seats and those open and available for purchase.
When to Print Seating Charts
The key to printing an accurate seating chart lies in setting an Inactivation Date. This is the date as well as the time you set when online ticket sales are long longer available to the general public. You'll want to set your Inactivation Date for the day of the event and set the time to approximately 1-2 hours before doors open. Then you can print seating charts after the inactivation period has passed to provide an up-to-date representation of sold seats.
Before the event, print any remaining tickets needed without accompanying seat or row information. As walk-up sales occur, simply cross off the open seats from your printed chart and mark appropriate seat rows as well as numbers on your pre-printed tickets.
Voila! Your patrons will not be scrambling for their seats, and you'll also experience effortless event and seat management.
Print Settings for Different Browsers Charts
To get started, click manage next to your desired event. Click sell next to your desired performance and then click on the section you want to print. To print all your sections, you'll have to click on each section and then print separately.
Printing Background Colors and Images
Note: Seating charts use "background colors" to show pre-sold seats. Depending on your browser, you may have to enable background colors and images before printing (this is more likely on PCs). You'll want to turn those settings on before printing your seating charts to see both sold and unsold seats. Additionally, if you are on Windows, you may have to hold down the Alt key to see your file menu at the top of the screen. You can also right click and click print.
