What is the event Presale Announcement?

The presale announcement is used to publicize an upcoming event without allowing the public to buy tickets online. Using the Presale Announcement will display both the event image and announcement to your customers on your online event listing.
The presale announcement date & time is when the event will automatically be displayed online with all other events, excluding the buy button. The presale announcement will remain visible until the activation date -- when the event changes to display the description instead of the announcement. When the activation date is reached, the Buy button will automatically appear.
